About Associate Attorney Erin Lowder

Having a background in multi-family property management, Erin decided to pursue a law degree with the hopes of becoming a real estate lawyer. She graduated with honors from a dual degree program in 2021, receiving her Master of Public Policy from Duke University and her Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University School of Law.

After graduating from the dual degree program, Erin took a slight detour from her original plans and began working for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as a policy advisor in EPA’s national headquarters office located in Durham, North Carolina. There, her work focused on federal regulation of state and local air quality programs across the country.

In 2025, Erin decided to leave the public sector and enter private practice. In addition to her extensive experience with environmental laws and regulations, Erin has a strong background in landlord/tenant, creditors’ rights, and collection matters.

When she isn’t working, you can find Erin spending time with her family, relaxing with a cup of coffee, or planning her next design project for her home.
